Pentax 6x7 MLU with super-multi coated-Takumar 6x7 105m 2.4 and metered prism. First generation with mirror lock up 1960s? In decent condition and working order for its age. Going to be really honest about this camera. It occasionally fires blank frames at the highest 2 shutter speeds.
From what I have read online this is quite common for a camera of its age. Firing it a number of times with no film in, at all speeds, does help it along.A good shutter service and CLA would have it running spot on. Otherwise, the body is completely mechanically sound.
Meter works well, tested against a pocket light meter. Good exposures throughout the range of shutter speeds. Some cosmetic chips and scrapes on the edges as seen in photos. Optically great lens, one of the best in its class.
Showing some of yellowing which is synonymous with this lens. Gives a nice warm tone to your image. Can be combatted by leaving the lens in a window in direct sun. Both elements clean and free of any noticeable imperfections. There might be some dust if you look really hard but nothing that would effect images. The lens does not stop down past f16. Again Im sure a service would have this working perfectly again. The item "Pentax 6X7 67 MLU, Super Multi Coated Takumar 105mm F2.4, Metered Prism" is in sale since Thursday, April 23, 2020.
